Congratulations to Aarna, in Year 5 at Elmridge Primary School, who has been crowned the national winner of the Key Stage 2 ‘Step into the NHS’ competition, beating nearly 2,000 other students from over 80 other schools across the country!
The annual NHS competition aims to help raise career aspirations, challenge stereotyping and put learning into context for the future. The challenge for Key Stage pupils was to showcase the variety of roles in the NHS. Judges were really impressed with Aarna’s entry and thought it was wonderfully researched and prepared, showing great passion for the NHS.
